Our Story

We opened Our Mutual Friend Brewing in December of 2012 with the goal of creating a place for community through our small neighborhood taproom in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver at 2810 Larimer Street. Starting on a 31-gallon brew system, we worked tirelessly to understand the techniques and history of beer while looking forward to where craft beer was heading. Doing so influenced our vision to create beers with a sense of place, forging relationships with Colorado hop and barley growers and leading us into offering as many 100% Colorado grown beers as possible.

Can I bring in outside food & drink?

We highly recommend Pit Fiend BBQ when they are open, but guests are always welcome to bring in any outside food or non-alcoholic beverages.
What is your taproom dog policy?

We welcome our leashed and well-behaved dog friends on the patio! Please do not bring them inside (per Denver Health Code.)
What is your taproom Kid policy?

Well-behaved, supervised kids 10 and under are welcome at the taproom until 6pm. No one older than 10 and under 21 years of age is allowed at any time.
Do you offer private events?

We offer the taproom for small private events! REACH OUT to get more info.
Are any of your beers gluten free?

Though we do not make any gluten free beers in house, we do offer fantastic gluten free beers in cans, made by our friends at Holidaily Brewing.

Do you offer alcohol free options?

We offer a rotating selection of alcohol free beverages, and are always looking for new ones.
